Kingston Releases Enterprise Class Gen5 Data Center SSD

Kingston today announced its latest data center SSD, DC3000ME PCIe 5.0 NVMe U.2 for server applications. The latest enterprise class U.2 SSD utilises a high-speed PCIe 5.0 NVMe interface and 3D eTLC NAND, while being backward-compatible with PCIe 4.0 servers and backplanes.

The ideal drive for a wide range of server applications such as AI, HPC, OLTP, cloud services and edge computing, DC3000ME is engineered to meet strict QoS requirements to ensure I/O consistency and low latency. For ultimate data security and to safeguard against sudden power loss DC3000ME includes on-board power loss protection and AES 256-bit encryption.

“DC3000ME was designed to provide leading edge performance and ensure predictable random I/O performance as well as predictable latencies over a wide range of server workloads,” said Tony Hollingsbee, SSD business manager, Kingston EMEA. “A key design criteria that system integrators, hyperscale data centers and cloud service providers can depend on in both Gen4 and Gen5 NVMe servers.”

DC3000ME is available in 3.84TB, 7.68TB and 15.36TB capacities and is backed by a five-year warranty, free technical support, and legendary Kingston reliability.
