Svein Atle Hagaseth has been appointed as the new CEO of Green Mountain. Hagaseth, who has served as the Chief Sales Officer of Green Mountain, holds an extensive international network and experience which fits well with the company’s strategic ambition of building a leading sustainable pan-European co-location provider.
Tor Kristian Gyland steps down due to personal reasons. He will remain with the company as a consultant for the time being.
Gyland started in Green Mountain close to 11 years ago as the Chief Technology Officer. He then assumed the role as company CEO in 2017. At his helm Green Mountain has been through a period of strong growth. Through key international agreements the company has developed from a small Norwegian co-location provider to one of the fastest growing providers in Europe.
“I look forward to continuing my journey in Green Mountain. I am extremely honored and excited to lead such an amazing organization. Through our people and operational excellence, we are ready to capitalize on our platform for growth. Both in Norway and across Europe.” Hagaseth said.
“On behalf of the Board and owners, I want to thank Gyland for his many years of exceptional service to Green Mountain. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors. At the same time, we are certain that under Hagaseth’s leadership, Green Mountain will fulfill its growth ambitions.” said Eyal Henkin, CEO of the Azrieli Group.
