MEEZA to build new data center

Qatar’s leading managed IT services & solutions provider, MEEZA is expanding its data center business with as it announced the fourth data center facility to complement its growing business.

MEEZA is a Qatar Foundation joint venture that offers Managed IT services, Data Centre Services, Cloud Services, and IT Security Service. The company currently operates three Tier III certified data centers, known as M-VAULTs.

The new data center facility will be located on the Qatar Science and Technology Park (QSTP), part of Qatar Foundation Research Development and Innovation. The company also said that the construction of the new data center has already begun and is expected to be completed by the middle of next year.

Ahmad Abdulla Al-Muslemani, Acting CEO of Meeza, said: “We are excited to announce the establishment of our fourth data center in Qatar and it could not have come at a better time. The new data center will be ready for use by the time we welcome some of the leading world experts in the industry and opens new doors for exchange of information, ideas and technological advancement.”
