In a blog post recently, Imperva announced that it has launched its new data center in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The move came as the company decided to provide enhanced performance and decreased latency to its customers in Argentina and the surrounding countries in the region.
Previously, our Argentina customers would have been protected from our Sao Paulo or Mexico City data centers. And, now with the new data center Imperva will be able to service local customers and will enable the company to lower latency rates in Argentina from ~65ms to ~35ms.
According to Imperva, Argentina is the latest expansion in its continued dedication to improve the South American network and also this new data center will be its 44th DDos-resilient facility across its global network of over 6 Tbps protection capacity.
