Datacloud Africa announced the winners of the inaugural awards at a special presentation ceremony held during the Datacloud Africa Leadership Summit. The awards celebrate and recognise data centre and cloud excellence in the last 12 months in the Africa region.
The finalists in each of the six categories were selected by a panel of judges comprised of professionals within the industry and we are delighted to share with you the very-first 2019 winners.
The winners of the 2019 Datacloud Africa Awards are:
- Africa Data Centre Service Provider of the Year Award – Rack Centre Limited
- Africa Cloud Service Provider of the Year Award – Main One / Nigeria
- Excellence in the Data Centre Award: Africa – MainData Nigeria Limited (MDXi)
- New Data Centre of the Year Award: Africa – Icolo.io
- Global Connectivity for Africa Innovator of the Year – Angola Cables S.A.
- Africa Data Centre Energy Innovator of the Year – Etix Everywhere
